Hello My Friends!
I’m Cydney.
When I started pottery in July of 2022, I thought I was waay too new to be doing shows or starting a business! I had intended to attend October studio tours, not work it. But there I was, scrounging for half decent pieces I’d given to family members in order to have enough for a table full of items… Lo and behold, that’s how most of my shows have gone to this point!
On the left, is a photo from that fateful day. The day things began rolling faster than I ever imagined. A month later, I filed for an LLC, and another month and I was in another show!
On that note, WHO DOES AN OUTDOOR SHOW IN DECEMBER IN NORTHERN MINNESOTA!? I’ll tell you. It’s me. I may be insane, but maybe a touch of insanity is what started this whole thing. After all, I had no idea what I was doing when I started, and three very short months later I was doing a show? Crazy how time moves so fast, and yet so slow.
A huge thank you to everyone who supported, believed and prayed for me. I never imagined I’d get so far, so soon. Cheers to many more years!
